Waterford is certainly establishing itself as an emerging Hip-Hop hub in 2011, and that looks set to continue when UK rapper Professor Green takes to stage at The Forum on Bank Holiday Sunday in October.
While Green has attained commercial success with the likes of “Need you Tonight” and his collaboration with Lily Allen, “Be Good to Green”, the Hackney professor is no mug when it comes to his rapping roots. Having won the 2008 JumpOff/Myspace battle rap tournament, Green has since gone from strength to strength.
