UK crooner Taio Cruz has shocked critics (or maybe just us at Rap Ireland) by finding himself riding high in the U.S charts, coming in at number 4 this week in the U.S Hot 100. Before you get flustered, the answer is No, it is not for that ridiculous “Take a Picture” single that is on repeat on MTV this side of the water. In fact, Cruz has teamed up with the ultimate hitmaker; LUDA!
A strange combination you would think but it seems to be working on the americans, who have waited a while for the latest Ludacris single and this seems to be satisfying their need. Other high-flyers this week are B.o.B (who you may know from his collab with Giggs), coming in at number 2, and Usher locking down the top spot to maintain the R’n’B monopoly on the Top 10. One guy you need to keep an eye on is Gucci Mane, who recently fired his management and has some fire being released!
