Following T.I.’s appearance on MTV’s Rap Fix Live earlier this week, it would now appear that an album between himself and Young Jeezy is becoming more of a reality. While appearing on the live show T.I. spoke a little more in-depth on the possibility of a joint project and revealed that it would take “no time to put it together.”
“Me and Jeezy been talkin’ about doin’ this project for a minute,” T.I. explained during the interview. “It wouldn’t take us long to do. We got records already in the can and it don’t take us no time to put it together. It’s just a matter of when they would be released.”
As is increasingly the case these days, it would appear that business and corporate decisions are where the difficulties lie, and not with the creative process.
“It’s not the recording, the recording is easy.” T.I said, “It’s a matter of when we would have time to market and promote them and release them. We’ve got maybe 30 or 40 per cent done. Between the two of us, we probably got five or six records.”
T.I drops his eight studio album Trouble Man on Sept 4th 2012.
