Sources in the U.S., namely HOT97’s resident gossip monger Miss Info, have claimed that Shyne, who has been locked up since taking the heat for tha infamous Diddy/J.Lo nightclub shooting incident, has signed a seven figure deal with Def Jam records.
After being deported to his homeland of Belize in October record companies stood up and took note, with a bidding war quickly ensuing for the MC’s services. Reportedly Shyne turned down an offer from Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre at Interscope, in addition to others, in favor of joining back up with L.A. Reid at Def Jam.
