Rihanna drops off a strong message in her video for “Man Down,” the catchy reggae sounding track is the latest single from her album ‘Loud’. Shot in Portland, Jamaica last month, the Barbados-born singer tells the story of a sexually abused woman in the Anthony Mandler directed video.
106 & Park premiered the video with stunning back-drops last night in which we see a long-haired RiRi riding her bike through the streets of Portland. Then journeying to a nightclub where she meets a man. After dancing together, he follows her outside and forces himself upon her and doesn’t back down, leaving her in tears but as we see at the start of the video she takes matters into her own hands and puts an end to the abuser’s life.
