N-Dubz To Take 18 Month Break?

Fans of N-Dubz will be saddened to hear that the band plan to take a 18-month break so each member can pursue solo projects. Dappy broke the news live on Choice FM Breakfast over in the UK. Only last month the trio rocked a sold-out gig in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre and with a spot at this years Oxegen Festival fans will be hoping they take their “break” after July.

Dappy revealed to the radio show that he will be working on solo material during the band’s hiatus and hopes to release tracks before the end of the year.

“I’ve got bangers for you – I’ve got a big solo album coming for you, three smash singles. By Christmas, hopefully, I’ll have two number ones. One of my first ones is called ‘No Regrets’.”

He also told Choice FM Breakfast:  “Tulisa is going to do her films and her fragrances. Fazer is going to produce half of my album and I’m going inside the studio to write songs with Tulisa.”

He added: “A year and a half or two years down the line and N-Dubz are going to be bigger than ever. We’re going to come back and kill it.”

While many bands say that they are just “taking a break” , do you think this spells the end of the road for N-Dubz or will they be back bigger and better after their planned hiatus.
