Eminem has admitted that his dissing of Lady Gaga in track ‘A Kiss’ was just a joke.
As revealed to you on Rap Ireland the rapper branded Lady Gaga a ‘male lady’ in his new track featured on his “Bad Meets Evil” side project. .
In the song, Eminem raps: “Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office/She’s still a male lady.”
The line is an apparent reference to past rumours, since denied, but still widely bandied around, that Lady Gaga was a hermaphrodite. The track also contains references to Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.
But Shady has now spoken out against the attack on Lady Ga Ga and is quoted as stating ”I think Lady GaGa, as an artist you know, she’s undeniable. That was one of them things where sometimes I get a joke in my head and I kinda want to share it with the world, you know what i’m saying.”
He added: “So it was just one of them things man, and it’s, you know, it’s all in fun, it’s Hip-Hop.”
Having long been acclaimed and denounced in almost equal measure for controversial, provocative and inflammatory lyrical content, it seems the Detroit master of ceremonies will continue to say exactly what he finds entertaining, be it as a solo artist or in a collaboration, and would we have it any other way?
