The long awaited third and final solo album from Hip-Hop’s maestro Dr. Dre, has just been linked to another release date and it’s this Summer.
Dr. Dre has delayed this album for the past decade after passing off many reported release dates and even rumours of it being scrapped altogether. Another alleged release date has just hit the Internet giving the infamous Detox album a date of 25th July for a possible release.
HMV have the album listed as available for pre-order in the U.K. for July 25th, which will hopefully be the date that finally holds face. Detox is probably the most anticipated album in music, not just Hip-Hop. With the singles Kush and I Need A Doctor already having being released, it gives some real hope that the project will see a release this time.
Dr. Dre’s last solo project was the album 2001 which was released back in November of 1999, leaving a gap of over 11 years since his last solo outing.
