After numerous delays, it would now appear that Diggy Simmons career is ready for liftoff. Best known as the son of Run DMC legend Rev Run, Diggy recently announced the title of his highly anticipated debut album, Unexpected Arrival. Speaking on the project, Diggy said “It has a lot of shock value to it and it’s definitely just a great project. Sonically it’s just something that you can listen to from top to bottom. Each song is different, but they all just feel great.”
At just 16 years of age, it seems Diggy has been on the fast-track to success, with singles “Copy, Paste” and “Do It Like You” featuring Jeremih, landing the youngster a grip of new fans.
The album is due to drop this spring, and for those of you stateside; Diggy will also embark on a six- date Life of a Jetsetter tour which kicks off February 6 in Atlanta.
