Ireland’s original and best battle league is back after a brief hiatus with the announcement of the eight event in the popular DFI series. The Pavilion, Cork will play host to the Sunday June 5th show, marking the first time a DFI battle has been held outside of the capital. Also for the first time, some of the UK’s top battlers will be competing at a DFI event as O’Shea and Innuendo are pitted against Nugget and Nash respectively. Given the venue, it’s only fitting that one of the headline battles showcases four of the rebel county’s best as Mickey Gatch and Brosy take on the team of K-Snatch and Mathamatic in a 2 on 2 battle. Redzer faces Bony in the lone Dublin vs. Cork match up, while DFI favourites Collie and Siyo also do battle.
Funds raised from the show will go towards sending Irish battlers to the King Of The Dot event in Canada this August where they will compete against the world’s best. This is another massive milestone for DFI, so check out the video flyer below and get yourself down to the Pavilion for June 5th.
