It seems Brooklyn has finally put itself back on the map again, in the unlikely form of Bobby Shmurda, the energetic young rapper whose minimalistic “Hot Nigga” was the soundtrack of the summer across the Five Boroughs and indeed across cities throughout the world.
It was revealed today that Bobby Shmurda’s “Shmurda She Wrote” EP will drop on November 10th, with the five-track EP currently available as a stream on MTV (not accessible to Irish users)
This EP should be the first indication as to whether Bobby will be able to shrug off the label of “one-hit-wonder”, a tag that seems to apply to many who’s debut single has such astronomical success. With celebrities across the globe mimicking the “Shmoney Dance” and “Hot Nigga” remaining one of the top Hip-Hop club bangers, Bobby Shmurda has some big shoes to fill with the follow up.
