While Black Eyed Peas were rocking sold out concerts and afterparties in Dublin last weekend they received big news; their smash hit “I Gotta Feeling” was announced by Billboard as the best-selling digital single of all-time.
While the title is obviously quite a new one given that only very recently have digital sales been recorded, it is still not to be snuffed at. The Hip-Hop group’s song has sold 5.56 million digital downloads!
Flo Rida’s “Low” had initially held the crown a 5.54 million copies, and remains in second place, with Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” taking the bronze with 5.36 million sold. And who said the internet would kill the music industry?
