Over the weekend, passengers on board a Delta Airlines flight were ironically treated to a mid air performance of B.O.B’s hit song “Airplanes”. The “I’ll be in the Sky” rapper, who is currently nominated for 6 Grammy Awards, surprised passengers by performing the song over the aircrafts loud-speaker while en route to LAX. Delta Airlines are the official sponsors of the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards due to take place in Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Sunday the 13th of February.
However, Bobby Ray is not the only rapper to rhyme over the Delta airwaves! As reported by Rap Radar back in November, Kanye West spontaneously treated passengers on a New York bound Delta flight to a performance of his world renowned hit “Gold Digger”.
Forget the dodgy headphones and movies- Shout out to Delta for taking in flight entertainment to a whole other level! A pity Jay-Z flies private…
