It is safe to say that in recent years Hip-Hop has become preoccupied with the “illuminati”, though this would appear to have come to a tragic head, when a would-be Virginian rapper shot his friend in the head, in what he believed was a necessary sacrifice in order to join the semi-fictitious society.
The rapper in question, 27 year old Wafeeq Sabir El-Amin, has been scheduled to face a 2-day trial in June and was refused bail as Judge L.A Harris described the young rapper as a danger to society.
El-Amin allegedly shot his friend in the head and stomach in his Virginia home, after declaring “You are my sacrifice”.
It has emerged that El-Amin was apparently obsessed with the career of 50 Cent, as well as a book about the role of the Illuminati in Hip Hop.
