Action Bronson has taken to his Twitter account to announce that he has become the latest addition to the Vice Records and Warner Bros. Records roster. The specifics of the deal he signed with the majors is still unclear but Bronson later stated that it will see him link his own label to VICE/Warner.
”When you see this it will prolly give you u chest pains I just signed for 1.5 through Left Brain”, Bronson tweeted . Indicating that he just landed a $1.5 million deal thanks to Left Brain but later clarified that he’d been using the major labels to back his own imprint. ”Ok we joked with you its not through OF it’s strictly Warner bros/Vice. My own imprint. Im a leader no coat rider. OF is fam forver iDGAF’.” Bronson later tweeted.
Bronson later spoke of how grateful he was and that the deal will hopefully be the beginning of a long career.“I just want to say thank u to everyone for all the love and support. I’m gonna make it count. Im able to feed my kids thank god,” wrote Bronson.
Action Bronson rocked a show back in March with support from Workin’ Class Records reps Lethal Dialect and Costello. The Queens representative has an upcoming project ”Rare Chandeliers” produced by The Alchemist and is set to release the second installment to his mixtape ”Blue Chips” so we can definitely expect big things from the New Yorker very soon.
