It has emerged that Sean Kingston was in a serious accident on May 29th when the jet ski he was traveling on collided with a bridge. The Jamaican singer/rapper and star of Beluga Heights/Epic/E1 Entertainment is in a critical condition at a hospital in Miami Beach, Florida. He is being treated in the trauma ward at Jackson Memorial hospital.

We are hearing that the ‘Beautiful Girls’ singer and a passenger were injured on the Jet Ski. Jorge Pino, a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, said the watercraft crashed when it went under a small bridge about 6 p.m and both were taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Kingston’s publicist confirmed that the singer was in an accident. “No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well wishes,” the statement said.
Earlier in the day, Kingston posted the following message on his Twitter account: “South beach… #nicee… bout to get fresh and cause that movie!!…”
Some reports in the media suggested he is in critical condition, but trough a e-mail sent to CNN by hip-hop artist Trav, who featured Kingston on his latest song “Life Style,” said he visited him at the hospital and that: “He is good in stable condition,”.
Nicki Minaj, who collaborated with him on “Letting Go (Dutty Love),” took to her Twitter account: “My love & prayers are with Sean Kingston & his family,” while Rihanna tweeted, “Sean we praying for u baby.”
Justin Bieber wrote, “got my friend @seankingston in my prayers tonight. a true friend and big bro. please keep him in your prayers tonight as well.”
Sean Kingston shot to fame in 2007 when his debut song “Beautiful Girls” became a No. 1 hit all over the world.
