Rihanna and Chris Brown have reconnected on social network Twitter. The “Whats My Name” singer added Chris Brown to the list of people she followed, with him returning the favour. When one of Ri Ri’s followers expressed concern and asked if she was back with her former boyfriend, Rihanna wrote: “its f***** twitter, not the altar!”
After the fan became upset, Rihanna quickly apologised- explaining that she wanted to make it clear to all her followers that she was not back in a relationship with Breezy. She wrote “babygirl I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt or offend u! Just needed to make it clear to the Navy! I still Stan for u xoxo”
Back in February Rap Ireland told you that Rihanna agreed to drop the restraining order to a level one – meaning that they can have contact as long as Brown doesn’t annoy, molest or harass her. During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Rihanna said she didn’t expect to talk to her former boyfriend, even though the restraining order against him has now been relaxed.
The “Rude Boy” singer explained her reasons for dropping the restraining order: “We don’t have to talk again ever in my life. I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did to me was a personal thing. It had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows, that definitely made it difficult for him. That was the only thing it was going to change, so I didn’t care.”
