In recent days, Mary J Blige has dropped the new video for her latest single “Someone to Love Me (Naked)”. The track features Lil Wayne and Diddy and will be the first single off her 10th studio album “My Life II: The Journey Continues”, due stateside September 20.
The 3 and a half minute Colin Tilley-directed video, co-starring Diddy and Lil Wayne, shows MJB wandering around a corridor then linking up with Weezy and Puff as lighting flashes around them.
Fans of Diddy – Dirty Money will recognize the original song from “Last Train to Paris”. This verison sees the R&B legend sing the catchy hook whilst putting her MJB stamp on the track with Wayne coming through with a hot verse.
“My Life II: The Journey Continues”, the sequel to her 1994 sophomore release is set to include production from Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Danja, Stargate, and The Underdogs. Speaking about the album,
“From me to you, My Life II… Our journey together continues in this life,” explained Mary. “It’s a gift to be able to relate and identify with my fans at all times. This album is a reflection of the times and lives of people all around me”.
