International Hip-Hop star 50 Cent has recorded a new documentary entitled ‘The Making Of Me’. This is a documentary that shows a different side to the rapper as he researches his roots and ancestry, revealing some personal insights into his life aside from that which we are normally accustomed.
50 talks about how his grandmother legally adopted him after his mother passed, a fact not too well known about the international star, and traces his roots back to Edgefield County, South Carolina, where his grandparents came from before moving to Southside Jamaica, Queens. He uncovers 200 years of family history and even confronts the descendants of those who enslaved his ancestors. ‘The Making Of Me’ is to air this Monday 23rd May on VH1.
