2 chainz is getting ready for a huge 2014 as he is set to kick off his new tour “2 G.O.O.D. 2 Be T.R.U.” with GOOD music label-mate Pusha T.
The Grammy nominee is also taking Def Jam artist August Alsina on the 21-date North American stint. The tour kicks off February 4th at the House of Blues in Boston.The tour will hit cities including New York, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami Beach and Washington, D.C.
It has not been announced whether this tour will be extended to Europe. “The best way to describe my tour is to reference a quote from Niccolo Machiavelli, author of the The Prince, who once said ‘Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are.’ 2 G.O.O.D. 2 Be T.R.U.,” 2 Chainz preached in his press release announcing the tour.
2 Chainz earned a Grammy nomination in the Best Rap Song category for “F—ing Problems” just last week. Last year, he was nominated alongside Pusha T in the Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance categories for the G.O.O.D. Music collaboration “Mercy” and in the Best Rap Album category for his Based on a TRU Story.
