Tulisa Contostavlos has been charged in connection to the supply of Class A drugs. The former N-Dubz star and X Factor judge will appear in court on the 19th of December.
Chief crown persecutor Balji Ubhey said yesterday ” The crown prosecution service has today authorized the metropolitan police service to charge Tulisa Contostavlos, 25, with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.”
”This charge relates to an investigation by The Sun newspaper between early March 2013 and the 23rd of May 2013 which resulted in the supply of class A drugs to an investigative journalist.”
”The defendant is now the subject of criminal proceedings and has the right to a fair trial.” Tulisa’s legal team have already stated that she intends to plead not guilty.”In due course Tulisa will give a full answer to these allegations in court” her statement read.
