Over the past few days the rap world has been giving everything to a story about Ne-Yo becoming engaged to partner Monyetta Shaw. In addition to this, it was revealed that the couple are expecting their second child in just a few weeks. Fans were doubly excited for the singer after the news was released but apparently the source of information was far from legitimate.
The latter nugget of news is in fact the only truth in the story. As rap fans waited impatiently for Ne-Yo to respond to the announcements, they were probably a little shocked when he had this to say: “Ok twit fam. To put all rumors to rest. Not engaged but am expecting second child.”
Ne-Yo revealed that some shady suspect, claiming to be Shaw’s representative rustled up the rumor: “Mo has no rep. The person claiming to be her rep lied. Thanx for the interest in my personal. Know that the day that I DO decide to take that step you will hear it from the horse’s mouth. Much love.”
