Last year U2 and Jay Z travelled down under to do a five city tour of Australia as part of the Irish rockers’ 360 tour. Now they have released a high quality recording of a live rendition of the band’s 1983 single “Sunday Bloody Sunday” featuring Hov joining the group on stage for a new verse, which also features on the limited edition of “U2 Duals”; a new compilation album of duets with other well known artists due later this year. The concert took place November 26 in Auckland, with the live recording boasting Bono’s soaring vocals and The Edge’s guitar riffs, with Jigga adding his hip-hop touch. This is definitely one for the MP3 playlist. Also see below the U2, Jay-Z & Rihanna track which will also appear on the Duels album.
