Kanye West has reportedly lashed out at a 18-year old man in Beverly Hills, according to celebrity news site TMZ. Yeezy is under investigation by police in L.A, after a man directed a racial slur at his fiancée Kim Kardashian – causing West to apparently assault him.
The website claims that the Bound 2 rapper punched the man in the face after coming to Kim’s aid at a medial Centre, where the man tried to help the socialite avoid waiting paparazzi.
The incident began when the man attempted to hold the door for Kim at a chiropractor’s office as paparazzi swarmed the scene. The man then began yelling racial and homophobic slurs at the photographers, but after Kardashian told him to stop using those offensive terms he began screaming at her.
The reality television star claims the individual threatened her life by yelling “I will kill you slut.” The mum-of-one called Kanye’s mobile and the hip-hop star entered the building and punched the teenager.The site said she has since met with attorneys and will file a police report for criminal threats.
It is thought that police now want to speak to West, with police stating to The Los Angeles Times yesterday: “The named suspect was identified as Kanye West by the victim and several witnesses.”
Kanye is still facing previous criminal battery and attempted grand theft charges for an encounter with a photographer last July at LAX airport. In November, West pleaded not guilty to charges of battery and grand theft in connection with the incident.The G.O.O.D. Music boss is claiming self-defense in that case.
