Since her smash single, ‘Gucci Gucci’ took the web by storm, things have only been getting better for California native, Kreayshawn. Now, the rapstress who has been frequently referred to as the female Lil B, can add to her ever growing posse of friends in high places with the news that Drizzy is also a firm fan.
Kreayshawn, who already had alliances in the form of Hodgy Beats and Left Brain of Odd Future, now also has the backing of Young Money megastar. During a recent appearance on DJ Green Lantern’s “The Invasion Show” on Sirius XM, the Canadian rapper rang in to show his support for the up and coming rapstress who was being interviewed on the show.
According to MTV’s RapFix, Drizzy was less than coy about voicing his enthusiasm for the New Columbia Records signee, praising her “flows” on ‘Gucci, Gucci’ and her infectious energy. When questioned about their recent connection, Drake described their initial encounter in vague detail, “I don’t know man, it just happens amongst us young people.” He continued, “We met up in L.A one time and we just kicked it. That’s my dog.”
In a bout of flirtatious exchange between the pair, Drake also referred to Kreayshawn as a “cutie pie“, to which she responded with compliments for her Canadian cohort, referring to him as “rugged and handsome.” Drizzy made it clear that he is keen on making music with his newest female friend, stating that he had “bars on deck” for a potential collaboration.
After their racy, radio rendezvous, maybe this will be a rap relationship that will end in more than just making music? Only time will tell.
