M.I.A., the Paper Planes singer, is finally working on her fourth and currently un-named studio album. Following the commercial flop that was “/\/\ /\ Y /\” it’s no wonder that the team behind the Tamil artist is desperate to get her back in the studio and start making them money. To help with this new album M.I.A. has enlisted the help of Rihanna‘s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
It is currently unknown what role Chris Brown will fill on the upcoming album but it’s rumoured that he will be recording a duet with M.I.A. Also enlisted for the album are Swizz Beatz, Money In The Bank artist and husband of Alicia Keys, and Polow da Don, producer of Keri Hilson‘s The Way You Love Me. Considering the notoriety that M.I.A.’s previous album brought her, the video for Born Free being the prime example, many fans are wondering if she will continue on with her politically inspired music or will she go for a more commercially sounding album using the likes of Chris Brown and Swizz Beatz.
