50 Cent once rapped about his prolific pimping ability and it appears he is set to display these skills on the big screen. 50, whose real name is Curtis Jackson will begin filming for the movie which is titled “The Frozen Ground” on October 17th.
The movie will be filmed in Anchorage, Alaska and will depict the life of notorious serial killer Robert Hansen who murdered more than seventeen women in the state during the 1970s and 80s. Hansen confessed to killing the women, some of which he let loose and hunted in the Alaskan wilderness.
Fiddy is not the only A-lister to sign up for the film, Academy award-winning actor, Nicolas Cage will play an Alaskan State Trooper in the film, John Cusack will play Hansen, whilst Vanessa Hudgens will play a victim who escaped.
According to Anchorage Daily News, 50 Cent will be in Alaska for two weeks filming the movie. His character’s details have not been outlined in great depth but Jackson will have a “substantial role”.
50 will be putting his lyrics into action in “The Frozen Ground”. His fans will have to wait until December 2012 to see if he can pull it off.
