Mack 10 Ordered to Pay $230,000 Credit Debt

Not a good day for the West Coast rapper Mack 10. Not a good day at all. For whatever reason, Mack 10 failed to appear in a California court, and thus having got on the wrong side of the judge, is being ordered to pay a $230,000 credit debt.

It is reported that Westside Connection’s Mack 10 borrowed $35,000 from a lender on April 24, 2010, and was expected to pay back $70,000 four months later. Mack also had an outstanding loan of $65,000 for which he was due to repay $130,000. Bizarrely, this 100% interest rate is against Californian law, however because Mack 10 failed to appear in court he has been ordered to pay in full.

The total of the two loans, interest, lawyer and all other related fees totals $229,668.86. So now a $100,000 loan is costing Mack almost $130,000 extra to repay. Moral of the story: Don’t borrow money from sharks, and if you do, show up in court!
